Lowe's is hiring for Operational Support AssociateThe Operational Support Associate at Lowe’s provides crucial support to ensure the smooth operation of the store’s day-to-day functions. This role involves handling various operational tasks, including inventory management, customer service, and logistical support to maintain a well-organized and efficient store environment.What You Will Do• Inventory Management: Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing products. Ensure inventory accuracy and manage product replenishment.• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, assisting with product selections, and resolving issues.• Operational Tasks: Support store operations by performing tasks such as data entry, processing transactions, and maintaining store cleanliness and organization.• Logistical Support: Coordinate and manage the movement of goods within the store. Assist with the setup of promotional displays and special events.• Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with store policies and procedures. Report any safety hazards or violations to management.• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with store associates to ensure all operational tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.• Problem-Solving: Identify and address operational issues, providing solutions to improve store performance and customer satisfaction.What We're Looking For• Schedule: Typically scheduled for 40 hours per week; flexibility to work additional hours as needed based on store requirements.• Availability: Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week.• Physical Demands: Ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other physical activities as necessary.What You Need To SucceedMinimum Qualifications:• High School Diploma or GED.• Previous experience in a retail or operational support role is preferred.• Basic knowledge of inventory management systems and store operations.• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Preferred Qualifications:• 1-2 years of experience in a similar operational support role.• Familiarity with store computer systems and technology.• Ability to perform detailed and accurate work in a fast-paced environment.Additional InformationLowe’s is an equal opportunity employer and administers all personnel practices without discrimination based on protected categories under federal, state, or local law.Pay Range: Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
