NoDuties And ResponsibilitiesThe Admissions Systems Analyst provides collaborative support and technical expertise to solve complex issues. Serves as a vital member of the Operations function of Admissions and broader enrollment by building communications, reporting data, and assisting in managing the AMP CRM system for the Office of Admissions.AMP CRM system management• Manage the user experience, access, and development for internal staff, external office use, and prospective students in technology environments. This includes AMP , AMCAS , and other data systems linked to the Office of Admissions.• Manage the functionality of queries and reporting in these data systems including, but not limited to, AMP , AMCAS , Wufoo, Web Focus, and others—work to update communications, portals, and data integrations.• Manage and develop flex data fields and integrations to enhance our use of the AMP system within our admissions process.• Provide ongoing analysis of committee functions, committee participant behavior, candidate experience, and candidate support to maximize the efficiency of the committee process.• Advise team members on systems’ capabilities and limitations; provide support, training, and the sharing of best practices to committee members and staff.• Develop, maintain, and update virtual portal experiences for prospective and incoming students, internal staff, and constituents.Reporting and Data• Create, edit, and run complex data queries and reports in AMP and Microsoft Excel.• Serve as a resource to current and potential students, campus representatives, and the public regarding admissions data, material, and processing details.• Work closely with the Assistant Dean of Admissions to find, extract, analyze, model, project, synthesize, and present student recruiting (admission funnel) and enrollment data and trends to support decision-making regarding Stritch SOM enrollment, retention, and recruiting/admissions strategies.• Fulfill requests for data and analysis for the admissions office, board of trustees, the Dean, committees, and partnered departments as requested by the Assistant Dean of admissions.• Collaborate internally and with other Stritch SOM offices to plan, design, and evaluate surveys and survey data.• Participate in creating surveys, collecting and analyzing data, and preparing results with tables, graphs, and presentations.Communications• Build and edit complex emails in AMP system. This includes creating and using templates, writing text and conditional logic, building hyperlinks, editing HTML / CSS code as needed, and pulling complex data queries.• Build and edit forms to be integrated within the AMP system, including developing form logic and communications tied to forms.• Assist with the development of SMS and email communications within the AMP portal.• Assist in responding to emails sent to the admissions office by committee members and candidates (approximately 10,000 emails a year). Provide support and training to assist staff with responses to more complex emails.• Serve as an internal expert to staff and faculty in producing and providing AMP systems training and training materials.• Serve as an interviewer, a reviewer, and an ex-officio member of the Committee on Admissions• Provide backup reception duties for the front desk as needed.• Assist in maintaining the back office.• Perform other related duties as requested.Time Type: Full-time, 40 hours per weekWork Schedule: This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week for 12 months per year. The regular hours for this position are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with a one-hour break. These hours may vary due to the needs of the department. Work may be occasional on evenings and weekends to assist with admissions events and activities. May require out-of-state travel for multi-day conferences.Work Model: HybridMinimum Education And/or Work ExperienceExperience: Master’s degree or doctorate in related field; 1-3 years’ experience in advanced quantitative data analysis required or a combination of Education and work experience.QualificationsBasic Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree or any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. At least one to two years of increasingly responsible related experience in a customer service work environment, working with complex technology and data systems and creating reports.Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in higher education or an office of Admissions. Experience working with the AMP Solutions CRM or equivalent.RequiredREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE , SKILLS , AND ABILITIESThe individual must possess the knowledge, skills, and ability to successfully perform the essential functions of the position or explain or demonstrate how the essential functions will be performed, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.• Advanced ability to understand and navigate a complex relational database and create complex data queries.• Experience collecting, manipulating, verifying, analyzing, and modeling data.• Knowledge of the following or the ability to learn within four to six weeks: AMP Solutions Customer Relationship Management ( CRM ) system.• Advanced knowledge of the following or the ability to learn within four to six weeks:• Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and Outlook.• Ability to create and edit formulas and pivot tables in Excel.• HTML , CSS , and SQL coding skills are preferred.• Website editing experience is preferred.• Excellent prioritizing and organizational skills to manage the workload in a fast-paced environment.
