Sr Engineer, Battery Cell Modeling

Lucid is looking for a Senior Battery Modeling Engineer to develop Multiphysics models of lithium-ion batteries to predict thermal and electrochemical performance.

Skills

Experience in modeling lithium-ion batteries
Ability to create multi-dimensional structure and run CFD models
Familiarity with battery testing equipment and test protocols

Responsibilities

Develop Multiphysics models of lithium-ion batteries under extreme operating conditions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize cell design
Review academic papers and provide insight summaries
Work with intellectual property team to patent inventions

Education

PhD in EE, ME, CS, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Materials, OR
Masters with 3+ years of relevant work experience, OR
Bachelors with 5+ years of relevant work experience
