Job Details
The Sr Manager, Conversion Rate & Ecommerce Optimization will be an integral member of Lunar, sitting cross-functionally between our media buying teams, Loyalty Landers (landing page technology), and the website development team. They will report directly to the Director of Ecommerce Optimization and work closely with designers, developers, and the media teams. This position will manage the client relationship as well as internally manage the strategy and execution of optimization projects, A/B testing, and landing pages. The Sr Manager, Conversion Rate & Ecommerce Optimization plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, polished work.
Responsibilities
Collaborate cross-functionality to develop comprehensive, omni-channel funnel strategies across a diverse swath of brands
Lead Lunar’s agile testing practice to rigorously mine for opportunities to remove points of friction along the customer journey, increase customer engagement and conversion behavior, and create a best-in-class consumer experience for our brands.
Oversee the hypothesis generation process by gathering and interpreting quantitative and qualitative insights, assessing, validating and prioritizing consumer experience testing opportunities and maintaining a backlog of future testing opportunities.
Create test plans that define hypotheses, document test goals, identify elements being tested, and establish test timing estimations and reporting plans.
Manage a balanced testing roadmap that covers a diverse swath of brands, devices, areas of ownership and level of effort
Own analytics of the full funnel experience including insights, attribution, and tech support. Manage the maintenance of internal dashboards for measuring and sharing results on business-critical KPIs related to growth.
Build timely, visual, compelling, fact-based test recaps, using data analysis, that strongly communicate the business ‘story’ behind the data and further a culture of data-driven decision making.
Coordinate with clients to understand their key objectives, business goals, and needs.
Regularly facilitate check-in and reporting calls, strategy sessions, design mock-up reviews, QBRs, and more with clients.
Facilitate cross-team collaboration between the SEM, Paid Social, CRM, and Creative teams.
Partner with UI/UX designers and developers to build mockups, scope tests within A/B testing tools, QA and troubleshoot any issues that arise
Work with leadership to continuously manage, analyze and improve Lunar’s training, workflows, project management, technology adoption, and processes.
Stay up-to-date on commerce enablement technology innovation, market trends, and digital advertising best practices.
Qualifications, Required Skills, and Experience
Desire to join a fast-paced/high-growth organization
5+ years of website optimization experience (ideally within the Shopify ecosystem)
Experience in user experience development/management, A/B testing, conversion rate optimization, digital marketing, and ecommerce strategy
Strong analytical background with expertise in various testing and reporting tools
Strong organizational and presentation skills.
Excellent attention to detail and quality assurance capabilities; willingness to be hands-on.
Ability to think strategically, work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Excellent interpersonal skills; team player with ability to communicate well among cross-functional teams
Strong desire to be challenged, work hard, and grow personally and professionally
