Job Description

1. High school diploma or the equivalent with coursework in science, mathematics, shop and reading blue print and equipment schematics is required. 2. A minimum of three years of experience as a maintenance or machinery mechanic is required. Experience in a health care or comparable institutional setting is preferred. 3. Maintains a valid driver s license and safe driving record. 4. Working knowledge of building and life safety codes in healthcare settings required. 5. Knowledge of and practices personal safety, hospital infection control and life safety procedures required. Utilizes personal protection equipment, including: eyesight, respiratory and hearing protective devices.
