About the Role

Lyra Health is looking for a well-rounded senior writer with exceptional writing skills to create short- and long-form content for both B2C and B2B audiences. The right candidate is a prolific writer and storyteller with a passion for their craft that inspires others. This strategic self-starter has the ability to write impactful headlines and persuasive short-form copy, and translate complex research and concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand content.


Responsibilities:
  • Create compelling, high-quality content aligned to Lyra’s brand strategy and goals that resonates with both customers (B2B) and Lyra members (B2C)
  • Conceptualize and develop copy across integrated campaigns via email, websites, print collateral, video, and more
  • Craft concise, high-impact headlines, teasers, and other short-form content
  • Develop narrative storytelling that seamlessly integrates across our content types and channels, and actively suggest and explore new storytelling methods 
  • Stay current with industry trends and brainstorm and pitch new content ideas
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners and internal leaders to understand their messaging needs, easily incorporate those needs into projects, and manage feedback, editing, and approval cycles to meet established deadlines
  • Translate complex topics and stories into easy-to-understand copy for internal and external audiences
  • Approach content strategically by focusing on big-picture objectives while executing the details of our editorial calendar and internal style guide with precision
  • Interview internal and external subject matter experts and thought leaders
  • Edit content from other writers and provide feedback
  • Ensure a consistent and compelling brand voice across multiple formats


Requirements:
  • Degree in communication, English, journalism, marketing, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience writing clear and compelling content in a variety of formats, including large, complex campaigns
  • Experience editing/proofing content in an iterative and flexible process, presenting concepts, and negotiating feedback from multiple stakeholders
  • Experience optimizing copy for different contexts and channels including print, web, social, and emails
  • Demonstrated ability to research complex subjects and translate findings into engaging, understandable copy
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize projects autonomously, meet strict writing deadlines, and excel in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interview skills, with a proven track record of collaborating with subject matter experts
  • Passionate, detail-oriented, and focused on creating best-in-class experiences
  • Strong command of AP style  
  • Ability to apply a thoughtful DEIB lens to all work, for both U.S. and global audiences
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with experience using tools such as Asana and Jira
  • Prefer experience in mental health, health care, or health tech
  • Prefer experience in B2B, B2C, and B2B2C

$106,000 - $163,000 a year
As a full-time Sr. Content Writer you will be employed by Lyra Health, Inc. The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time position is $106,000-163,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location. 

At Lyra, base salary is only one aspect of an employee’s total compensation package, which additionally may include discretionary restricted stock unit awards, comprehensive medical and dental coverage, and retirement benefits. This role may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
