Machine Operator - Slitter (1st Shift)

Sets-up and operates slitter machine through monitoring, adjusting, and inspection. Ensures all products meet customer specifications.

• Thread the line, verify material dimensions, adjust speed and tension to produce a quality product. (30% of Job)
• Initiates auto sequence and sets the line to stop at desired point. Discharges material from line. (30% of job)
• Verify and print tag for each coil processed. Document problems detected in material or process. Sign and date completed workorder. (30% of job)
• Maintain a clean work environment by keeping work area free of trash and scrap. (10% of job)
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Prior metals experience preferred.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
