We're seeking a Machine Operator for our Finishing Department at the Bolingbrook plant. This 1st Shift role includes Monday – Friday schedules, 5:30am - 2:00pm, with overtime during peak seasons.

Role Description:
As a Machine Operator, you'll be a crucial part in our production process, responsible for preparing, supplying, and operating the collation machine, ensuring products meet our high-quality standards. You will:
Understand the complete operation of the machine.
Load materials in the order of utilization.
Refer to job specifications and previous run data to set machine parameters.
Maintain safety by following Lockout/Tag-out procedures before machine maintenance.
Meet or exceed job standards for line speeds, scrap, and setup times.
Load and unload stock and maintain department inventory.
Collaborate with the Quality Assurance department to ensure product specification compliance.
Keep your work area and equipment clean.
Conduct thorough inspections and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on equipment.

Your Profile:
We're seeking candidates who preferably have a High School diploma or GED equivalent and at least 6 months of machine operating experience in a manufacturing plant. English proficiency is a must, both in verbal and written communication. You should be willing to work overtime, which could include 12-hour shifts and some Saturdays during peak seasons.
You should have eyesight correctable to 20/20 to operate equipment and the ability to perform precision hand movements when operating a machine. Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly is a requirement, as well as the capacity to work independently with high attention to detail.
