Machine Operator - Rotomolding Technician - 1st Shift

Fluidra is seeking a Machine Operator - Rotomolding Technician to join the team at our S.R. Smith office in Portland, TN.


PRIMARY PURPOSE

Will be responsible for their assigned area including roto molding oven, employees assigned to their area, production schedules, production supplies, cost controls and safety.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee daily operations of assigned rotational molding machine and oven.
  • Ensure operating and quality standards are met for all product produced in assigned area.
  • Provide safety and operational training to employees in assigned roto molding area.
  • Offer recommendations to improve production processes for better time management and quality work habits.
  • Will be back up for Roto Molding Technician II when they are absent.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
  • 3 Years experience with Roto Molding or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Quality control experience is preferred.
  • Roto molding machine, personal computer (including word processing and spreadsheet software), calculator, scales, and measuring devices.

Position starts at $20.00/ hour. Fluidra offers a comprehensive total rewards / benefits program that includes base salary, annual bonus based on performance of individual and company objectives, competitive 401K matching, paid vacation and sick time, full range of health benefits, educational assistance, etc. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including skills, qualifications, experience and location.
