About this Opportunity:
As our Field Service Engineer, you'll be the face of Machinery Partner as customer receive their new purchase machinery. You'll be expected to drive the customer experience through machine quality assurance onsite or virtually and educating the operator on how to use the machine they purchased. You'll leverage your machine expertise with process and technology to scale help scale the operations department. You're part of a high-performing, tactical team that has a culture of collaboration and integrity.
You will not be required to bring your own tools to sites as we will also be working with local Service Techs and business operators who will provide tools.
Job Responsibilities:
In-Field:
Delight the customer with a seamless machine delivery experience
Demonstrate machine expertise by supporting equipment in the field in front of customers, even if it's your first time seeing it in person
Support contracted Service Technicians in the field
Communicate effectively using common industry verbiage - "Know the lingo"
Office Responsibilities:
Advocate and share learnings across the company
Support calls during regular working hours, nights, and weekends
Support machines remotely through use of manuals, photos, diagrams and schematics
Use data to identify trends and proactively fix issues
Build out support materials to assist with onsite repair procedures
Machine Responsibilities:
Study and become familiar with a large set of machines across many industries
Identify parts using photos, manuals, parts portals and customer descriptions
Be technically inclined - Use manuals, photos, diagrams and schematics to understand the machines that you sell
Requirements:
Travel Expectations: Minimum of 50%, flexing with volume demands
5+ years of heavy equipment experience. Bachelor's degree from technical university or apprenticeship will be taken into consideration in addition to work experience
Individual has basic job site safety understanding
