Madison Energy Infrastructure (“Madison” or “MEI”) believes in the power of clean energy infrastructure and has quickly emerged as a preeminent developer, investor, asset owner, and operator of distributed generation. The Analyst, Energy Solutions role represents a critical next step in MEI’s evolution toward offering direct, end-to-end services to Fortune 500 corporates, public entities, nonprofits, and other private customers alike.

This position will play a critical role on the organization’s Business & Market Development team through market research and generating project- and portfolio-level valuations. Responsibilities include financial modeling, conducting project due diligence, analyzing policy and market opportunities, assisting in partnership negotiations and writing investment committee memos. This position is best filled by a multi-disciplined, self-starter with an appetite for learning and covering multiple technologies and topics.

• Supporting the Business & Market Development team’s overall commercial efforts, running financial valuations, and providing indicative pricing for new project and portfolio investment opportunities.
• Collaborating with colleagues to generate and present project designs, pricing, savings analysis, and proposals directly to our partners and customers.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to challenge project inputs and serve as a consistent voice in advancing Madison’s business interests.  
• Upholding Madison’s internal investment framework.
• Becoming a subject matter expert in key markets across multiple technologies, including solar, energy storage, mobility, and other clean energy solutions.
• Supporting ongoing partner and customer engagement from project start to project finish.

• Experience with financial modeling, analyzing discounted cash flows, and valuing distributed clean energy assets
• Knowledge of clean energy markets and incentive programs
• An insatiable interest to learn and advance your commercial understanding and acumen in an entrepreneurial environment
• Hands-on knowledge of CRMs such as Salesforce and other systems/software
• Strong analytical and communication skills required
• Meticulous attention to detail
• Multi-tasker with a strong work ethic
• Superior interpersonal skills and a team-first mentality
