Provides comprehensive design solutions and services that meet the needs of Magellan's external customers (e.g., existing clients and prospective clients) and internal customers (e.g., account managers, sales). Has working knowledge of and experience with an array of graphics software and applies them to various proposal and non-proposal communication vehicles including marketing materials, posters, presentations and proposals. Instrumental in the development and oversight of graphics library and graphic submission processes. Provide ongoing training to the staff on graphics and production-related processes. Produce quality reproductions of final copies of proposals, presentations and other communication pieces for delivery to internal and external customers. Serve as liaison with external vendors (equipment and office supplies).• Designs proposal and corporate materials including but not limited to proposal graphics, cover art, posters, and newsletters.• Produces proposal responses and sales presentations; assists in coordination and maintenance of production schedules• Develops and maintains corporate branding documentation in collaboration with Marketing and Communications• Trains proposal staff on graphics and production-related processes• Maintains department equipment; serves as liaison with external vendors (copier, office supplies) to ensure that all equipment is operational and we have sufficient supplies to meet demand• Customizes and develops client specific materials to meet RFP requirements associated with pre and post sale documents.ResponsibilitiesOther Job Requirements3-5 years of experience in graphic design or a production environment.Extensive experience working with external vendors including designers, printers and fulfillment houses.Ability to comprehend and convert proposal language into graphic images.An equivalent combination of experience and education is acceptable.Demonstrated design and project management skills with the ability to produce superior designs and design strategies.Extreme attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff.Ability and flexibility in setting and managing priorities effectively and delivering on time in deadline-driven matrix environment.Mature judgment and discretion.Web design and content management experience.Macintosh and PC proficiency, Quark Express, Adobe Publishing Collection and Adobe In Design.General Job InformationTitleGraphic DesignerGrade23Work Experience - RequiredGraphic Design, MarketingWork Experience - PreferredEducation - RequiredA Combination of Education and Work Experience May Be Considered., Bachelor'sEducation - PreferredLicense and Certifications - RequiredLicense And Certifications - PreferredSalary RangeSalary Minimum$53,125Salary Maximum$84,995This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.
