As an Intern Project Manager of Information Technology, you are responsible for the successful completion of technology projects through planning, implementation and project close-out. You will learn the project’s life cycle to keep the project moving forward, focusing on task completion, risk mitigation, issue resolution as well as meeting outcomes and goals of the project. You will work closely with operational departments and the Innovation Center of Excellence.• Join the Team! Hybrid.Essential Accountabilities• Lead of an assigned IT project. Responsible for the successful implementation of the project. Partners with the Operational Owners.• Works with the Project Management Office (PMO) team participates and/or leads in the development and monitoring of the project scope and key project deliverables based upon the approved project charter.• Proactively identifies, prioritizes and mitigates risks that could impact project outcomes. Works with Project Team to remediate risks; technical, operational and/or resource to maintain project quality outcomes.• Ensures that timelines are clearly communicated, and issues appropriately documented and acted upon. Summarizes and communicated project status, risks, key issues and related remediation plans. Ensures that information communicated is clear.• Develops and owns the project schedule and plans which identify and sequence the activities needed to successfully complete the project. Monitors the progress and makes adjustments to ensure the successful completion of the project.ExperienceMeaningful coursework in technology or information security related discipline.EducationHigh School Degree or GED.
