Maintenance Associate

At Datadog, Business Operations run the day-to-day operations for Datadog and help to keep our employees safe, happy and productive, which means every day is different. Business Operations work closely with leadership and employees to ensure that Datadog keeps scaling smoothly and remains a great place to work.

As the Maintenance Associate at Datadog, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the office is maintained to the highest standards. You will be responsible for all repairs and maintenance and oversee any outside vendors that may need to be called. 

What You’ll Do: 

• Repair equipment, plumbing, flooring, lighting, shades, and paint walls 
• Liaise with the building management on repairs and maintenance for which they are responsible
• Keep documentation up to date
• Log all service and maintenance activity
• Proactively monitor the general conditions of office equipment to ensure high quality performance 
• Prepare and set up for large in-office events 
• Work with our Procurement team on large purchases

Who You Are:

• 3-5 years of general maintenance experience
• Able to read and follow safety regulations
• Able to determine material requirements for specific and/or specialized projects
• Knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical systems
• Knowledge of basic carpentry, painting and door hardware installation 
• Able to provide high-quality customer service
• Friendly and positive demeanor
• Be adaptable to quick changes and growth
• Quick problem-solving skills, and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Willing to work occasional overtime
• Strong reputation for get-it-done attitude and completing projects from start to finish
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

The reasonably estimated salary for this role at Datadog ranges from $43,000 to $63,000, plus a competitive equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
