JOB SUMMARY
Perform emergency unscheduled, scheduled corrective and preventative maintenance on equipment and infrastructure at Marley Engineered Products site.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, identify the root cause, and return the equipment to safe, efficient operating conditions.
• Perform corrective scheduled maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance on schedule per assigned task instructions on equipment and systems.
• Identify improvement opportunities and work with the Maintenance Supervisor and Manufacturing Engineers to develop and implement a solution.
• Capable of working basic industrial electrical maintenance, including wire 480V 3PH equipment, troubleshooting electric circuits, replacing or installing electric components (i.e., sensors, switches)
• Responsible for safe work habits, housekeeping of assigned work areas, and quality of work.
• Record work performed, parts used, and time required in the Maintenance Management System.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Capable of lifting 50 Lbs. and 20 Lbs. overhead
• Bending, squatting, stooping, twisting, turning, reaching
• Climb ladders, operate man lifts and scissor lifts
• Able to wear a safety harness when required to perform duties
• Working in elevated temperatures >90°F and cold temperatures <40°F

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Associate's degree (AAS) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school in a technical field or equivalent combination of education, technical or military experience preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of industrial maintenance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Must have a working knowledge of machinery, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance-related drawings (electrical/mechanical), schematics & sketches
• Must have strong computer skills using Windows-based environment, email, and the internet
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment with skills in mechanical, pneumatic & hydraulic
• Mechanical overhaul experience on flywheel-driven equipment, hydraulic press equipment, and gearboxes
• Experience with basic industrial electricity
• Experience and training in LOTO

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
