About the Job

As a Maintenance Technician your responsibiities will include:

• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
• Performing preventative maintenance.
• Handling basic repairs and maintenance.
• Overseeing contractors when specialized repairs are necessary.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues and correcting them.
• Repairing machines, equipment, or structures as necessary.
• Ability to work overtime when requested. Sometimes may be short notice by a few hours.
• General housekeeping relating to maintenance repairs when needed.

About You

• 2 years’ experience in an Industrial Environment
• Must possess strong Mechanical and Analytical aptitude
• Troubleshooting experience with electrical systems.
• Must have equipment repair experience (Gearbox, Power Transmission, Conveyors, and Bearings).
• Prior experience welding (Stick and Mig) is a plus but not required
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workload and problems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess the ability to work independent and make decisions without direct supervision
• Must be at least 18 years of age and have attained a High School Diploma or GED

Physical Requirements

• The ability to lift 50 pounds on occasion
• The ability to see and respond to dangerous situations
• The ability to safely climb stairs
• The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
