Grounded in a talent-centric mindset, Maker Lab is a marketing agency designed to build decentralised technology-led agency teams, rooted in collaboration with clients from the ground up. Maker Lab’s cross-functional teams of multidisciplinary specialists are embedded into client teams across digital marketing competencies — from measurement & analytics to content production.

Performance Marketing Specialist

Maker Lab supports clients across technology, entertainment, financial services and the payments industry. We’re looking for dynamic individuals to join our team and support our amazing clients in the tech industry.

As a Performance Marketing Specialist, you will be focused on driving measurable results from online marketing campaigns. Your goal will be to maximise return on investment (ROI) by optimising campaigns for specific performance metrics. 

Role: 

  • Planning, executing, and optimising online advertising campaigns across various channels.
  • Managing advertising budgets and allocating resources effectively. Possessing expertise in various digital advertising channels.
  • Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies to support marketing initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the team to achieve and exceed ad revenue targets. This includes active participation in brainstorming sessions, contributing to strategic planning, and working in synergy with various departments to optimise campaign performance and drive revenue growth.
  • Work with internal and external creative teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Conducted post-campaign analysis and delivered comprehensive reports analysing success metrics, engagement levels, and areas for improvement.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders and partners to drive marketing objectives.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on marketing performance and progress towards objectives.

You:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on owned and operated channels.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing performance marketing strategies.
  • Strong track record of achieving marketing goals and revenue targets.
  • Good experience in performance marketing: managed, planned, organised, and executed data-driven campaigns, optimising for maximum ROI across various channels, from inception to completion, within budget.
  • Excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently in a timely and accurate manner and on budget.
  • Ability to maintain positive relationships with agencies, colleagues and suppliers.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication and presentation skills.
