We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Manager to lead our Channel Sales team. As the Manager of the team, you will be responsible for driving success through effective sales strategies. Your primary focus will be on developing and managing your team members, as well as relationships with channel partners and TSDs, driving revenue growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will lead a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize their performance and achieve sales targets. This role requires excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in channel sales.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Channel Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive channel sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets with your assigned territory or partner module.
  • Identify, evaluate, and recruit potential channel partners, considering their fit with our products and market segments.
  • Collaborate with channel marketing to align partner growth strategies with overall business objectives.

2. Channel Partner Management:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key channel partners, including Technology Service Distributors (TSDs)
  • Drive partner recruitment efforts, negotiate contracts, and onboard new partners effectively.
  • Provide ongoing support to channel partners, including training, product updates, and marketing collateral.

3. Sales Team Leadership:

  • Build and lead a high-performing Channel sales team, providing clear direction, coaching, and mentoring.
  • Set sales targets and objectives, monitor performance, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative and motivating work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
  • Assisting team in identifying potential partners and developing strong relationships with partners to co-sell Nextiva products and services.

4. Sales Performance and Forecasting:

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and sales data to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Monitor sales metrics and KPIs to assess team performance and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and ensure achievement of revenue goals.

5. Customer Relationship Management:

  • Collaborate with channel partners to identify and engage with potential customers, supporting the sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and escalations to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers to drive repeat business and upsell opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Proven experience as a Sales Manager or similar leadership role in the software or IT Services industry, with a focus on channel sales
  • Deep understanding of software products, market dynamics, and channel sales strategies
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends
  • Results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools
