The Opportunity:

Your role at Sephora:

As a Manager, CRM Data Science Analytics at Sephora, you will: Lead development of marketing data analytics to drive consumer-led thinking. Create a data research and marketing ML (Machine Learning) agenda to support and realize strategic business objectives. Lead marketing driven data analytics shift toward prioritization of high value actions, CLV (Customer Lifetime Value) and Omni-Channel Marketing. Build data-driven customer segments. Build comprehensive analytics views of predictive consumer purchasing drivers. Define marketing analytics requirements for ML models. Serve as subject matter expert and team resource regarding ML best practices and limitations. Translate marketing inputs and research, including exploration of prototype statistical models, into requirements for new and optimized ML models, features, and consumer segments meant for production. Lead ML model launch strategy. Build and automate marketing ML methodologies and reporting to regularly monitor model performance in production. Work with the Strategy, Analytics, and Activation Groups to ensure proper in-market implementation of ML models. Close loop on business use case performance and drive data optimizations in research and ML models. Establish a universal standard, process, and repository of ML models and consumer insights to support CRM team documentation and organizational sharing. (May work from home with manager approval. Must be able to attend all in-office meetings.)


We are excited about you if you have:

  • Bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in Analytics, Management, or Marketing.
  • Four (4) years of experience in business intelligence analytics.


Experience must include:

  • programming in Python, R, and SQL;
  • Tableau;
  • Data mining;
  • Data analysis;
  • Modeling of complex datasets;
  • Statistical analysis;
  • Quantitative analytics;
  • Forecasting and predictive analytics;
  • Deep learning and optimization algorithms; and
  • Scrum project management.


Salary:
$179,878 to $180,878 per year

Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
