Manager, Regional Demand Planning
Position Summary: As the Manager, Demand Planning, you will be responsible for the ownership of demand planning related activities for assigned product categories across the Americas region.
Some of the specific duties include implementing demand planning strategies, demand planning processes, and executing top down/bottom’s up SKU level forecasts that support customer service, inventory, and financial objectives. You will collaborate with the appropriate leaders of cross-functional teams to ensure agreed processes and procedures are in place to support Customer Service, Inventory management, and Business process improvements across the supply chain. In addition, you will effectively handle communication of Key Performance Indicator (KPI) analysis and improvement plans as part of the monthly S&OP process. We expect a Demand Planning Manager to work independently, identify opportunities for improvement, develop solutions, and influence outcomes across a wide range of products, geographies and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead a team through monthly demand planning processes which include building forecasts, analyzing forecasts, making recommendations, and incorporating historical and market intelligence data into current forecast. This includes leveraging our Logility demand planning software to execute monthly plans.
2. Develop and execute new Demand Planning Strategies from the ground up
3. Design and interpret meaningful business analyses and metrics to drive consensus-based forecasts, provide visibility to forecast accuracy and communicate findings to all levels of the organization.
4. Ownership of regional forecasts and consolidation as well as developing reports to support line planning and regional cross-functional analysis.
5. Manage seasonal forecasting process in partnership with product merchandising and sales planning to drive pre-season decision making.
6. Initiate and lead process improvements.
7. Build and demonstrate expertise in operation and management of forecasting-related systems and systems interfaces
8. Lead the ship the month process for in-season demand forecasting for the assigned category.
9. Partner with Supply Planning to understand the supply demand match and collaborate with the business unit on action plans to improve service to customers.
10. Responsible for evaluation and development of staff in order to seek continuous improvement and build a highly functioning team.
Job Requirements:
Years of Related Professional Experience: 7+ years of related experience in demand, supply, sourcing, or other related supply chain functions, 1+ years of people management experience
Educational/Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university (Preferred concentration in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or Business Management) MBA/MS in Business Administration is preferred

Special Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
Approximately 10% travel including the possibility of global travel to Asia and Europe
