As an Engineering Manager on the Mobile team, you will lead a team of talented mobile engineers (Android and iOS) to build new and meaningful experiences for our clients using. What you'll do:

• Lead the team to drive initiatives from idea formulation, to design, and implementation by following the best practices. e.g. testing, observability, etc.
• Set the technical vision & direction for the team and lead the team to achieve it.
• Drive great partnership with Product, Design, and Analytics teams.
• Participate in essential technical, design, and product discussions with teams across the organization.
• Manage cross-product technical dependencies and drive resolutions to conflicts.
• Instill a spirit of continuous improvement in the team's code, architecture, and processes.
• Grow and build a strong, healthy, and diverse team through hiring, mentoring, and coaching.

What you'll need:

• 8-12+ years of software development experience in an Agile environment.
• 3-5+ years of experience leading, coaching, and mentoring mobile development teams with a strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects.
• Experience building native iOS and/or Android apps.
• Strong hands-on skills. Can drill deep into the complex system design and implementation when needed.
• Experience in managing customer-facing applications through reliability and resiliency fundamentals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences.
• 8+ years of Android native development experience (Android Studio with Java or Kotlin) and/or iOS native development experience (XCode with Objective-C or Swift).
• 8+ years of experience with JavaScript (preferably React Native).
• Experience with cross-platform mobile application development framework is a plus, for e.g., Flutter.
• Strong understanding of the software design/architecture process and design patterns.
• Experience with iOS and Android automation test framework, for e.g., Appium.
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and its use in testing, building and deploying iOS and Android apps.
• Strong understanding of OOP and OOD.
• Proven experience of building integrations with APIs using technical interface specifications.
• Knowledge of packaging mobile application in libraries or modules or apps for distribution.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, JIRA.
• Relational and non-relational database design skills.
• Experience with unit and integration testing.
• Experience in working in an environment following Agile methodology.
• Familiarity with health care industry and data privacy regulations is a plus.
• Experience with Software FMEA process is a plus.
