Program Manager, Sales Enablement - Account Development and Inside sales

The Basics:

Tanium is seeking an energetic and detailed-oriented Program Manager to help us support and scale Tanium's growing Account Development (SDRs) and Inside Sales Organization (CAEs). This role will support and lead enablement efforts around our Sales go-to-market strategy in addition to general sales and sales management skills, company, industry, and product-specific initiatives. You will be focused on sales onboarding training, as well as ongoing field training and various enablement for the Addison, Texas (in office) teams. As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring our SDRs and CAEs teams are developing the skills, knowledge, and overall business acumen to support Tanium's top of the funnel sales efforts (inbound leads, outbound opportunity identification, strategic account planning, and outbound prospecting practices) in alignment with our field sales teams. You will also support CAEs in the full sales cycle including support on: MEDDPICC, prospecting, time management, outreach initiatives, closing, and more. This position will report directly to the Head of Sales Enablement with a dotted line to the Director of Onboarding and Field Enablement.

What you'll do:

  • Facilitation: a true enjoyment for presenting both virtually and in person. This will include onboarding facilitation and ongoing field training and enablement.
  • Partner with Company-wide Subject Matter experts and stakeholders to develop and deliver programs related to:
      • New products or product updates
      • Role-related skill development and role progression
      • Sales Skills
      • Onboarding for the Addison sales team office and other divisions, as needed.
  • Partner with SDR and CAE Leadership to:
      • Plan and execute enablement strategies and programs.
      • Drive measurable, improved performance through content, training and coaching services.
      • Establish processes for communicating, tracking, and maintaining process documentation.
      • Develop Account Development Reps on required knowledge and skills.
      • Serve as a Mentor and Coach to support role progression and career path journey.
      • Support Pipeline Generation, Lead Flow Management Process, Target Customer Campaigns and Field Sales alignment
      • Serve as the liaison, representing the needs of the Account Development sellers and leaders.
      • Develop Internal Accreditation Programs
  • Partner with other Field Sales Program Managers to:
      • Ensure enablement efforts are aligned and integrated across the entire sales force and buying cycle, from lead generation to closed business.
      • Establish strategies, processes, and cadence for cross-communication between Field Sales and Account Development teams to drive operational cadence and process consistency.

We're looking for someone with:

  • Education:
    • First-level university degree or equivalent experience
  • Experience:
    • 5-8+ years of combined experience/education in the following areas:
    • B2B Sales a must. Sales within technology a plus. Extensive Business Development experience. Inside sales or full cycle, field sales experience is a key.
    • Program / Project Management experience
    • Process Improvement or Performance Management experience
    • Learning Management Systems, Sales Methodologies, and Instruction Design & Delivery.
  • Other:
    • Strong credibility, interpersonal and team building skills; ability to influence and drive change across functional teams, specifically Sales, Marketing, Technical, Operations, and Enablement.
    • Proficiency with Salesforce.com, Clari, Saba or other equivalent learning platforms.
    • Strong understanding of the demands and requirements of top of the funnel sales motions.
    • Sales Coaching
    • Strong Project Management
    • Strong communication skills (i.e. written, verbal, presentation)
    • Strong business and financial acumen.

What you'll get

The annual base salary range for this full-time position is $75,000 to $225,000. This range is an estimate for what Tanium will pay a new hire. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, location, education, skills, training, and experience.

In addition to an annual base salary, team members will receive equity awards and a generous benefits package consisting of medical, dental and vision plan, family planning benefits, health savings account, flexible spending account, transportation savings account, 401(k) retirement savings plan with company match, life, accident and disability coverage, business travel accident insurance, employee assistance programs, disability insurance, and other well-being benefits.
