The Team:
Datadog's Finance team collaborates with teams across the organization, providing commercial, operational and analytical support to ensure that Datadog's business continues to grow as rapidly and efficiently as possible.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Global Equity Administrator Manager to join our growing Finance team at Datadog. As a member of the finance team, the Global Equity Administrator Manager will be a key member of the team in overseeing the full cycle process of stock administration.
You Will:
- Manage the day-to-day operations and have expert knowledge to administer Datadog’s equity plans, both domestic and international, including Stock Options, Restricted Stock Units, Performance Awards, 10b5-1 Plans, and Employee Stock Purchase Plans
- Partner and work closely with Accounting, Finance, Tax, Payroll, People, Legal, Transfer Agents, and others to maintain income and tax reporting files, administer global mobility tax compliance, and provide accurate information and timely support
- Lead automation and process improvement efforts across systems to deliver information quickly, efficiently, and accurately
- Manage equity-related inquiries from employees, executives, investors, and other key partners
- Provide audit support for quarterly reviews and year-end audits, as well as ensuring that internal controls and procedures are operating efficiently
- Reconcile equity transactions, share issuances, tax withholding and reporting, and other items as required
- Manage E*TRADE Equity Edge Online platform to ensure all equity plan transactions (grants, exercises, RSU releases, dispositions, etc.) and participant profiles/records are correctly processed and updated in a timely manner
- Lead global equity reporting and compliance with international tax and regulatory requirements through annual filings and coordination with external providers
- Provide education to employees on equity compensation
- Improve formal equity-related procedures, policies and controls
You Are:
- 7+ years of stock administration experience at global public company
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP) preferred
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- Strong understanding of U.S. federal, state, and global equity taxation
- Experience with the E*TRADE Equity Edge Online platform and other major third-party equity software systems and brokerage firms
- Extensive experience working cross-functionally on equity matters with legal, finance, and people teams
- Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills as well as a desire to be part of a team
- Strong systems skills and desire to build system expertise around systems, integration, and automation
- Experience with US GAAP and SOX
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure; dependable with deliverables and deadlines, able to multitask
