Overview:
Konica Minolta currently has an exciting opportunity for a Manager, IP Customer Support!
This position is responsible for the overall operations within the Industrial Print support group, including dealing with technical support of critical customers, hardware and solutions support and interactions with Japan, BEU, and R&D. The incumbent will provide leadership to the industrial print group’s technical experts and front line support technicians. They will work closely with other Konica Minolta support functions including Service Planning, SCM, Part Operations, Administration, Sales and Marketing; maintain a strong understanding about the industrial print environment; stay on top of market changes to innovate the KMBS services approach; and support new customer opportunities and expansion within current accounts.
Responsibilities:
- Attract, hire, train, develop, motivate and manage team members.

Assist Senior Director of IP Services in the strategic development and review of key initiatives.

Manage operating budget and cost center expenses

Innovation in new business areas, projects and customer offerings.

Participate in customer acquisition opportunities.

Develop ideas geared towards process and productivity improvements.

Coordinates monthly review meetings with management to assess resource productivity and project status.

Maintain educational training standards and certification levels in line with job requirements and advancement development plans.

Create personal and subordinate development and training plans.
-
Responsible for managing support escalation to problem resolution as necessary.

Support and facilitate PAR sessions with customers and internal reviews.
Qualifications:
- Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent experience in a related field.

Extensive service operations knowledge (5 year minimum)

Previous experience in personnel management.

Strong working knowledge of industry hardware, services and solutions offerings.

Documented history of business development and exceeding business objectives.

Proficiency in time management and organizational discipline.

Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Working knowledge of Project Management methodology and processes.

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of internal and external organizations.

Knowledge of industry hardware, services and solution.
