Duties

• Serve as direct manager for all internal payroll individual contributors on the team
• Oversee internal payroll process, workflows across different worker types
• Create scalable payroll workflows
• Manage payroll and payment reporting for internal team members to our finance stakeholders.
• Manage implementation into Deel product lines
• Serve as final approver of payroll related functions (pay register and payslips)
• Assist in data audits with our People Tech and Analytics stakeholders to ensure data
• Own relationships with key stakeholders across the business to efficiently and accurately process payroll, globally
• Verify payroll records are in compliance with established standards
• Key contact for off cycle payments as requested
• Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience in payroll
• 2+ years' experience managing teams
• Experience in supporting new country launches from a payroll perspective.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated, independent, cooperative, flexible, creative, and responsible
• Desire to, and the ability to, work in a highly collaborative yet fully distributed, global team environment
• Ability to successfully work autonomously and with self-motivation and self-direction
• Strong desire to solve tough problems and share learnings with others
