Position Information:
The Mgr, Laundry & Linen is responsible for the linen distribution throughout the WakeMed system in order to maintain the highest possible standards, and good public relations with all concerned. Position is responsible for the administrative management of linen operations for all WakeMed Health and Hospitals. Position is accountable for the integration of the WakeMed mission, vision, and values into the performance of all areas of responsibility. Works in collaboration with Quality Textiles Services, customers, administration, medical staff, and peers, to fulfill job responsibilities, meet performance standards, and achieve corporate goals and objectives. In cooperation with Administration, and other hospital leadership, this position shares responsibility for strategic planning, program development, standards compliance, and integration of system wide service delivery. Identifies opportunities to improve linen service, and participates in projects and programs designed to reduce error and improve safety.

Experience Requirements:
2 Years Leadership And 7 Years Linen Distribution Required - And 10 Years Direct Position Experience In Lieu of Degree

Education Required:
Associate's Degree Required - And Bachelor's Degree Business Administration Or Related Field Preferred

Hours of Work:
9-10 hours per day 5 days per week as needed for department operations

Weekend Requirements:
As Needed

Call Requirements:
As needed
