Manager, Marketing & Applications

Lead a team of product marketing managers and engineers tasked with ensuring the proper execution and delivery of the goals set out below. Oversee and direct staff to work with the product research, development, product marketing, engineering teams of OEM customers and partners to understand the next generation of electronic devices being developed by those OEM customers and partners and the specific technical demands those devices will impose on the integrated circuits within them. Ensure staff to properly translate the specific technical needs of the next generation of electronic devices being developed by OEM customers and partners into product specifications for integrated circuit products, defining new integrated circuit product portfolios based on those specifications. Direct staff to work with silicon design teams and software design teams to help define the product roadmap for bringing those integrated circuit products to market. Oversee and maintain integrity and qualify of staff in their research of the integrated circuit product portfolios and feature sets being developed by other integrated circuit manufacturers and mapping the entire market ecosystem related to integrated circuit product definition and providing such information to research, development, and acquisition teams to ensure integrated circuit product offerings remain competitive. Define the product definition, development, and marketing strategies for next generation of integrated circuit products and working with Marcom (marketing communication) teams to develop marketing strategies to drive demand and ensure optimum positioning for integrated circuit products.

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, E-Commerce, Marketing or a closely related field plus seven years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a Master’s degree in one of the foregoing fields plus five years of relevant experience or a PhD in one of the foregoing fields plus three years of relevant experience. In all cases, experience must include three years of experience in semiconductor product marketing or related roles and three years of experience leading marketing for a large (>$100M) electronics engineering product family or families. In addition, the position requires a detailed understanding of the competitive semiconductor audio, haptic, and sensing technologies offered in the consumer market. All experience may be earned concurrently.


This position is located in Austin, TX

This is a hybrid position and will follow a 2+ day in-office work schedule, with in-office days based on business needs and team preference. You must be based within commutable distance of the work location listed on the job posting, or willing to relocate prior to beginning employment with Cirrus Logic.
