The Role:


As a fully remote leader reporting to the EVP of People and Talent, the Manager, People Operations will play a critical role in developing and executing HR strategies that align with our company's goals and values. They will lead the team responsible for creating a positive and engaging workplace culture and developing processes and programs that drive the overall growth and development of our organization.


The Impact You’ll Make:


  • Oversee the onboarding and off-boarding processes
  • Champion a positive and inclusive work environment by designing and executing employee engagement programs and initiatives
  • Identify training and development needs across the organization and create comprehensive learning programs
  • Partner with other People team members on the administration of compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness and fairness
  • Promote employee wellness through wellness programs, mental health initiatives, and work-life balance support
  • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with legal and regulatory requirements, stay current with labor laws and regulations, and ensure the company's HR practices remain compliant
  • Own all things related to employee LOAs, immigration
  • Utilize HR data and metrics to drive data-driven decision-making, measure HR programs' effectiveness, and generate regular reports for leadership review


Who You Are:


  • Proven experience (8+ years) in HR or People Operations, preferably in the tech or startup industry
  • Strong understanding of employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices
  • Strong understanding of tech roles, skills, and trends in the startup ecosystem
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in HRIS (Rippling preferred) and other relevant software applications
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • You have demonstrated the ability to lead and develop HR teams
  • Certification(s) such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR a plus
