Invesco Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is evolving its capabilities and is looking for new Team members. Enterprise Risk is a global Second Line of Defense function that engages with Invesco Business teams to facilitate delivery and oversight of the risk management framework and provide a consistent, aligned approach to risk management across the firm.

Your Role
The Manager, Program Delivery will facilitate planning, execution and reporting of the enterprise risk management strategic priorities. Primarily supporting Working Group Leads, Manager Program Delivery will aid in the identification of dependencies and elimination of blockers to support the team in focusing on execution of deliverables. Additionally, the Manager, Program Delivery will facilitate senior and executive leadership meetings by preparing presentations, status reports and ensuring readiness.

You Will Be Responsible For:
Program Management

Lead and manage workstreams ensuring target state risk management objectives are achieved and deliver critical aspects of the Enterprise Risk transformation.
Drive the on-schedule completion of deliverables in accordance with the Program Roadmap
Manage cross-group dependencies.
Facilitate effective execution of Working Group events (planning, recurring status update meetings, reporting to senior leaders/ steering committees)
Build a trustful, safe work environment based on openness and transparency.
Proactively protect the team from external distractions and/or reorganization of deliverables to align to changes in priority.
Guide and coach team discussions, decision making, conflict resolution, and working agreements.
Initiate and execute best practice project management activities including workplan development and management, budgeting, status tracking and risk management.
Reporting of the status of Enterprise Risk & Audit Strategic Priorities to various stakeholder group
Support the execution of all aspects of risk management policy and framework as needed.
Support consistency in applied practices of risk management across Risk categories promoting consistent measurement of risk.
Support Risk Management Committees and governance forums as necessary
Promotes and fosters a focus on innovation, continuous learning and improvement for all aspects of Enterprise Risk Management including appropriate leverage of technology and data analytics.

Program Delivery Practices

In the spirit of continuous improvement: seek, recommend and implement changes to program delivery practices as approved.
Offer training, coaching and mentoring to team members on project management best practices and agile concepts.
Stay apprised of new and emerging program/ project management methodologies and enabling technologies.

The Experience You Bring:
This position requires strong communication, organization and critical thinking skills. It is a position that is important and unique as it faces both internal the Enterprise Risk team, Business Partners and senior leadership. Candidates must have experience leading highly visible projects in a business setting. Experience navigating and communicating vertically (from executive-level to detailed level) is critical. This individual must possess a superior ability to identify developing issues that jeopardize scope, timeline, risk, and/or budget as this project progresses.

3-5 years' leading large, complex programs (multiple workstreams, 20+ team members)
Financial Services industry, preferably in Asset Management.
In-depth understanding of risk frameworks, methodologies standards and related regulatory requirements.
Experience in working effectively with multiple levels in an organizational all the way to the Senior Management Committees and Boards.
Project reporting, governance and transparency is also essential and must be demonstrated through previous achievements and success.
Agile experience in a business/ non-technical setting (ability to translate agile concepts into plain English)
Experienced engaging with Business partners, establishing project schedule, and leading discussions
Familiarity with JIRA and scaled Agile
Must also have the ability to produce high level Executive Presentations
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk, Business or relevant discipline, advanced degrees and/or accreditations beneficial.
