Job Description Summary

As an Associate Product Manager, you will have a meaningful role in growing and supporting the IIS multi-asset franchise, globally. This will primarily involve supporting the broader product management and client solutions teams with the positioning, commercialization, and support of capabilities offered and enabled by IIS.

Your Team
Invesco Investment Solutions (IIS), based in the US, Europe, and Asia, is an independent, client-centric group of 80+ investment professionals focused on combining strategic and tactical asset allocation with manager selection capabilities and proprietary analytics. The team has extensive experience developing customized, goal-oriented, multi-asset strategies for institutional and retail clients globally across the spectrum from index-based solutions to multi-alternatives.

Your Role

The Associate Product Manager plays an integral role in growing and supporting the IIS business through best-in-class product positioning and client servicing, leading as a client advocate, and implementing business plans to drive organic growth, profitability, and asset retention. Beyond offering product and client support, our product managers bring a business owner's approach to the capabilities they cover, with the goal of supporting business development efforts and helping every product be as commercially successful as possible while delivering a superior client experience. The key to success in this role is demonstrating the ability to think outside of the box regarding the positioning of their capabilities, and to be nimble and re-focus quickly as business and client needs evolve.

The result is a multi-faceted, dynamic, and challenging role that demands exceptional skills and creativity in communications, analytics, relationship building, and overall project management, as well as being a passionate student of our industry and capital markets.

You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Partnering with senior product managers and strategists to understand client needs; using this insight to tailor prospecting and client servicing collateral thereby enhancing content relevance for different client types including, retail, institutional, insurance etc
  • Understanding the competitive and market landscape for IIS capabilities in a specific market or channel; using this intelligence to flag sales opportunities and providing value-added insights to our client-facing teams
  • Working closely with IIS investments, product managers, and RFP teams to develop and coordinate investment content on RFPs, RFIs, and due diligence questionnaires
  • Analyzing performance attribution reports on existing IIS products and delivering recurring performance commentaries for client and regulatory requirements
  • Acting as an internal point of contact to distribution, marketing, compliance teams etc., providing input with respect to all product messaging
  • Cultivating strong, trusting partnerships with teams across the firm and providing connectivity with the IIS team
  • Leveraging technology and firmwide capabilities to deliver efficiently and effectively for our clients

The Experience You Bring:
  • Four to five years appliable experience
  • Good understanding of financial markets, asset allocation strategies, and investment concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel
  • Existing knowledge or ability to learn financial software/systems, including Morningstar Direct, Bloomberg, FactSet
