DataRobot is seeking an experienced professional to join the team as a Sales Compensation Manager. This is a remote opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Partner closely with Sr. Director of Finance & Operations, SVP Worldwide Sales, President of Worldwide Field Operations, CFO, Human Resources, Controller, and Finance teams during the fiscal year planning, quota development, and annual sales compensation design process.
Work with sales leaders to ensure compensation plans are aligned with company strategies and targets for customer segments and regions.
Ensures timely and accurate sales incentive administration, pay distribution, & budgeting/forecasting on a monthly & quarterly basis.
Partner with functional leaders and finance to appropriately set budgets and securely reported actuals.
Design sales and incentive plans that drive the sales behaviors that will drive expected results; model and test plans to ensure profitability and desired results; offer creativity and standard processes.
Publish quarterly sales compensation reporting package for sales and executive leadership.
Be a trusted advisor on sales compensation plan design details.
Partner with the Accounting team during the monthly commissions process.
Provides guidance and recommendation to improve the sales compensation pay mix, modeling, communication, and implementation.
Provide training and enablement material to promote understanding of compensation plans.
Skills/Requirements:
5+ years in sales compensation design and administration
Strong financial modeling skills using Excel; Tableau and SQL
Experience working with sales compensation plans for a fast-growing sales organization
Focus on execution excellence
Proven ability to engage well with people at all levels, listen actively, and able to find win-win solutions for difficult topics and situations.
Communicate effectively through numerous channels
Intrinsic ability to deal with ambiguity and natural perseverance
A natural team player who is willing to dive into the detail
Experience working with CaptivateIQ and SalesForce preferred
