Manager, Software Solutions - Public Sector

Position Overview

The Manager, Software Solutions – Public Sector is responsible for the development and performance of a team of Software & Cloud Solutions Executives with a focus on Microsoft Solutions and Cloud hyperscaler’s as a GTM strategy.

The Manager of Software Solutions is also responsible for designing and implementing account, territory and Segment coverage models to support the sales organization.

What you’ll do at Insight

  • Provide a high level of subject matter expertise in Software Licensing and actively participate in deal pursuits
  • Works closely with publisher Managers to develop and position Insight throughout Insight Public Sector
  • Develop L&D for the team around key publishers and Insight offerings.
  • Ensure that the team is capable and successful in preparing and delivering presentations to key clients around Insights Software and Services offerings
  • Attend vendor-related training, webinars, and conferences as required.
  • Work closely with various cross functional teams to ensure the licensing solutions meet customers’ requirements.
  • Work with Professional and Managed services to help identify additional adoption services driven by Software Agreements.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and external relationships with peers at key publishers
  • Will be required to meet specific sales targets in relation to Software Revenue and Gross Profit.

What you’ll need to join Insight

  • BS/BA or equivalent experience in business in a related field
  • Experience in developing and proposing OEM software licensing agreements
  • Experience with enterprise software solutions and large, complex organizations
  • Sales and/or technical experience with Cisco solutions is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Willingness to travel and work in a national team of professionals
  • Should be able to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization and must be a team player
  • Must be highly self-directed with an ability to take initiative and formulate buy-in strategies with all levels of management

The base salary range for this position is typically $100,000 to $130,000 with additional bonus and benefits available. However, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, including experience and location, and we will also consider candidates outside of this range as necessary.
