"Our focus on diversity and inclusion is not only the right thing to do, but it is a key factor in our performance and success. We know the more diverse our team can be, the better we perform together.”
- Joyce Mullen, President and CEO

We believe diversity is a critical component of our success.

At Insight we appreciate the complexity and importance of diversity and inclusion in both society and within our workplace. We are committed to creating and maintaining positive change by taking practical and sustainable actions that improve the daily experience for all teammates at work.

To achieve this, we are guided by four cornerstones of diversity and inclusion:

• Everyday Respect: Behaving and speaking in a way that demonstrates respect to all teammates in all interactions
• Managing Bias: Understanding the role of bias in our behavior and decision-making and taking steps to manage its impact
• Intentional Language: Acknowledging the impact of words and phrases in our vocabulary and making the choice to use language that is respectful and inclusive
• Confident Conversations: Building confidence and courage to have conversations about challenging topics in a constructive and respectful way

See our diversity and inclusion section on our company website for more updates and programs on diversity and inclusion at Insight.

Community

We lead with our heart.

Hunger, Heart and Harmony are at the core of who we are at Insight. Our North American community outreach program is Reach. It focuses on bringing together Insight’s giving efforts to support organizations that provide technology-driven educational opportunities for children. Reach is an extension of the Heart our teammates show every day and is our next step in the evolution of giving at Insight. This program unites all our charitable activities under one single initiative: to support our local communities by providing opportunities for children through our shared love of technology. The future will run on technology, but will be written by the young people we nurture and encourage today.

Some of our Reach beneficiaries include:

  • Make-a-Wish Foundation- 10-year old Avery got to meet the creator of “Halo” action figures. Diego, 8 years old, can now play games and read on his own Microsoft Tablet. Hunter got to throw the first pitch at his favorite baseball team’s game. Insight supported these wishes for these three incredibly deserving youth.
  • Feed My Starving Children, St. Mary’s Food Bank- From Boston and Montreal to Spokane and Tempe, Insight teammates fund mentor programs, equip computer labs, pack food boxes and provide scholarships to the communities in which we work and live.
  • United Way- Every summer, Insight teammates hold raffles, stage fun interactive events like decorating bags which hold books on technology for children of all ages. We contribute goods as well as monetary donations which support food drives, housing, and learning initiatives for the Valley of the Sun United Way.
  • Arizona Diamondbacks Science of Baseball: Tomorrows’ innovations begins in today’s classrooms. This program shows teachers and students how to use baseball to make Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) lessons come alive.

Providing technology for a better world.

We believe in keeping our planet safe.

At Insight, we believe it’s our responsibility to leave the planet a little better than we found it. With this in mind, we advocate and employ tech solutions that are designed to be environmentally friendly, including offerings that:

  • Require fewer technology products and services.
  • Reduce travel.
  • Lower electrical usage and carbon dioxide emissions.
  • Decrease paper usage.
  • And we properly dispose of hardware and technology equipment, recycling whenever possible.
Application Process

We believe in making meaningful connections with candidates and recognize that applying for any job comes with a lot of questions. We do our best to keep the process simple. Here are a few things you should know about what to expect from our process:

  • All official Insight job postings for North American roles are located at jobs.insight.com
  • All applications are managed through our website, we don’t send any materials directly to candidates in order to apply.
  • Our interviewing process always includes an interview with the hiring manager, either in person or by phone. It’s important to us that our candidates and leaders connect to have discussions about the role, the Insight culture and answer questions prospective teammates may have.
  • As part of our process you will never be asked for payment or credit card information.
  • Our CEO, Ken Lamneck, believes that hiring the right people is one of the most important things we do, but he does not sign offer letters.
  • Digital communications from our team will always come from addresses with the email protocol insight.com.

If you have questions about what to expect when you apply to Insight, please connect with us directly.
