Overview:
The Manager Regulatory Compliance ensures the aircraft maintenance policies and practices established by the company achieve the highest level of safety and airworthiness and are fully compliant with FAA regulations and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate effectively in an environment with government officials, managers, supervisors and frontline employees. Must handle change constructively
- Coordinate with maintenance station, MOC, maintenance training, outside vendors and technical publications to ensure consistency between published policy, maintenance training and field practices
- Positively and productively interact with FAA inspectors/regulators, verbally and via written correspondence.
- Assist in developing “best maintenance practices” and coordinate with maintenance training for implementation
- Build and maintain a collaborative and engaged environment within the division(s) by providing positive, encouraging and informative input/feedback
- This position will provide leadership and supervision to the Compliance Specialist position
- Conduct thorough and complete incident investigations involving process and/or procedural failure and prepare reports and recommendations to the Chief Inspector and Director of Quality
- Monitor and ensure timely response to Voluntary Self Disclosures, Regulatory Concerns, Compliance Actions and other regulatory findings including thorough root cause analysis and identification of comprehensive fixes.
- Maintain accurate, timely information on internal investigations and provide follow-up to ensure action item and comprehensive fix items are fully implemented and effective
- Responsible for ensuring all Endeavor Air aircraft inspection and maintenance procedures conform to all FAR’s, established Company procedures and professional industry standards.
- Position requires some physical exertion such as pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking and light lifting of boxes, bags, files, etc. not in excess of 30 lbs.
- Can involve long periods of sitting. Computer work, in a typical office environment, subject to critical deadlines.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required, BS degree in Aviation Maintenance Management preferred
- Requires 5 plus years of aviation maintenance experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to represent the interests of the company and represent company policy and procedure to FAA officials
- Proficient in MS Word, ability to use Excel and other specialized computer programs
- Strong written communication skills are required
- Strong organizational skills
- Airframe and Powerplant certification is preferred
- Extensive knowledge of airline maintenance organizations is preferred
- Experience interacting with the FAA is preferred.

FLSA Status: Salary Minimum Position Pay Range: USD $85,497.39/Yr. Maximum Position Pay Range: USD $114,301.32/Yr.
