Manager - UI/UX

Market Title: Senior UX Researcher General Position Summary: In this role, you will help build our UX Research practice. You are passionate about understanding the reasons behind consumer behavior and love the hunt for insights that may lead to original products, features, or branded experiences. As the Senior UX Researcher, you will be responsible for delivering results in three critical areas for our clients. UX Solutions Consumer Insights Innovation and Growth To successfully drive results in these three areas, you will need a very diverse skill set. As a seasoned UX Researcher, you have been an individual contributor on a wide array of UX projects, including but not limited to end-to-end redesigns of eCommerce sites, product development, and mobile apps. You have some management experience but have never lost a love for the craft and get excited planning research and revel in its execution. You're in your element getting into the details of feedback or sifting through weeds of qualitative and quantitative input. You can think strategically and are a skilled tactician. Specific Job Skills: • Tell a clear story fueled by research • Develop customer journey maps, empathy maps, needs analysis, and personas based on research • Moderate consumer interviews and user testing • Perform and report on in-person/online qualitative and quantitative testing for new concepts or existing products • Create personas and map requirements for them • Validate strategy to understand if it meets customer expectations and behaviors. • Perform expert reviews to understand pitfalls of the current experience • Create competitive analysis to understand and compare product landscape Essential Functions/Responsibilities: • Help define UX solutions • Define the testing strategy • Work on multiple projects, track the status and build research to objectives • Keep abreast of industry development and new technologies Secondary Functions: • Educate internal and external teams on the value of UX Research Interpersonal Contacts: This position reports directly to the UX Practice Lead Supervisory Responsibility: No direct reports. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree required in HCI, CX, or UX related field 7-10 years in a CX Strategy or User Research role at an agency or similar fast-paced work environment Nice to have: Direct experience in eCommerce.
