Hosting Services Administrator (Tech Hub / Athens)

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a Fortune 500 firm, leader at its domain, is looking for an experienced Hosting Services Administrator.

Our client has a Tech Hub in Athens with more than 60 employees and the Hub provides IT Services across all corporate functions of the organization in Europe & the USA.

 

📌 Location: Athens, North sector (walking distance to metro station)

📍 Working Model: Hybrid working model (3 days office, 2 remote)

🖋️You will be reporting to the Hosting Services Manager

 

What you will do:

 

As a Hosting Services Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, scalability, and availability of services that host and process the company’s applications, systems, and data. Your responsibilities will include managing the day-to-day operations of the company’s global hosting services across both physical data centers and cloud environments (specifically Azure).

More specifically you will:

  • Ensure conformity with change management standards and oversee policy, standards, and procedural development.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain operational processes, ensuring optimal configuration and monitoring.
  • Participate in IT and business goal setting, and provide monthly operational reports on resource usage, thresholds, SLAs, and root cause analysis.
  • Monitor department performance (technical and personnel) and refine monitoring metrics, benchmarks, and alerts.
  • Administer Wintel platform, provide global technical support, and oversee hardware/software implementations.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards, lead disaster recovery testing, and manage incident remediation.
  • Participate in on-call rotation to support the team.
  • Maintain consistent communication with executives, department heads, and end users to align IT activities with organizational needs.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as assigned by IT leadership.

 

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or 2+years of experience in a similar role / similar duties.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory role within IT operations, preferably in Enterprise or Data Center infrastructures.
  • Strong knowledge of Wintel computer hardware & operating systems (Windows Server Operating Systems).
  • Strong working knowledge in enterprise backup disk-based solutions (e.g. Azure Backup, CommVault, and Veeam).
  • Strong working knowledge in enterprise storage solutions HPE, DELL, NetApp.
  • Working knowledge in Microsoft SCCM.
  • Knowledge of industry standard maintenance practices and monitoring tools is required.
  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to participate in special projects as requested.
  • Excellent command of English language written and verbal.
  • Team player with strong work ethic and excellent documentation skills.
  • Have a strong customer service focus when accomplishing tasks and projects.
  • Strong analytical & problem solving skills.

 

 

 

Any of the following will be highly appreciated:

  • Experience with Azure IaaS services, Intune and Azure Arc.
  • Experience with Linux – any distribution.
  • Experience with AS/400 (iSeries).
  • Experience with PowerShell.

✔️ Salary range between 32K – 36K depending on skillset and experience
