Manufacturing Area Managers - All Shifts

We are seeking experienced Manufacturing Area Managers for our West Point, MS plant. We currently have openings on Day (6am - 2pm), Afternoon (2pm - 10pm), and Night (10pm - 6am) shifts (Mon-Fri, w/ Overtime occasionally required on Saturday).

This position plans, schedules, and manages the manufacturing production process. Incorporates organization-wide operational safety, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and cost control policies and programs into manufacturing processes. Monitors production metrics, responds to and resolves problems. Collaborates with plant senior leadership and Human Resources to manage and resolve workforce and employee issues. Hires and supervises assembly and welding employees for the pm shift, and employs best practice management skills to manage workforce in manner that shows respect and caring to employees yet holds them accountable consistently and fairly.

Qualifications:

- 5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years experience at a similar level of management (higher than a line lead) required.

- Bachelors or Associate's Degree preferred, or some relevant manufacturing certification (safety, welding, etc.). Experience can substitute for education or certification.

- Experience working in or supervising in a heavy truck manufacturing plant a plus!

- Salary offer will take into account all qualifications and experience.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
