Wage rate: $26.82 up to 33.22 (after training)

Overtime paid.

Schedule

• 12 hour shifts that rotate day/nights and 36/48 hour work weeks

The Process Operator will be responsible for the manufacturing and handling of raw materials and/or finished products at the plant. Safely operating equipment in the assigned area while maintaining a high degree of quality for our products and working as efficiently as possible for our continuous operation facilities.

Core Responsibilities/Essential Functions:

• Operating mechanized equipment; monitor process operating conditions
• Make process adjustments as necessary according to standard operating procedures by adhering to Ingredion’s safety, quality, and environmental practices
• Types of equipment include, but not limited to evaporators, reactors, conveyors, valves, pumps, etc.
• Conducting routine operating inspections of the unit, troubleshooting operational problems and responding to area emergencies or to changing operational situations
• Sampling and testing products. Use various lab equipment and maintain accurate results

Required education:

· High school diploma or GED required
