Manufacturing Technician

Carbon is looking for a Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Redwood City, CA. The ideal candidate shall perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the productions of parts, components, subassemblies and final assemblies.

Primary Responsibilities:

Performing assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks.
Conducting quality checks on the functionality of parts and components.
Collaborating with other departments to complete builds on time.
Complying with internal policies and industry regulations.
Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
Troubleshoot problems with equipment, devices, or products
Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
Assist engineers in developing, building, or testing prototypes or new products, processes, or procedures.
Maintain inventory of job materials.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED and 0-1 years of relevant experience.
Working knowledge of computers and office software.
Strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Great communication and collaboration skills.
Keen attention to detail and problem-solving techniques.
Ability to excel in a self-directed work setting and react to changing customer demands.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
High sense of urgency with focus on maximizing safety, uptime & quality.

At Carbon, we look at the person holistically and carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation. The pay range for this position is $22.12 - $33.65 per hour. Your actual pay will be based on your experience, work location, certifications, and the unique skills you bring to the role. If you are not based in our Redwood City office, the range above will be adjusted for the geographical differential associated with your actual work location.
