Marchine Learning Engineer

As a software engineer intern at Alluxio you will participate in the development of the state-of-the-art Tachyon project, which is the centerpiece of the company's business. This role will provide you with a unique opportunity to impact the success of the company and to grow your career at a fast pace.

Minimum Qualifications

Pursuing a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative and iterative programming environment

Preferred Qualifications

B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Knowledge of distributed storage systems (development knowledge is a plus)
Good understanding of (one or more): system design, distributed systems, storage systems, database systems, networking, security.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability and desire to work in a fast paced, collaborative and iterative programming environment
Contributed or contributing to Alluxio

The salary range for this role is $135,000-160,000/per year.
