In the Market Development Manager for Intensified Chromatography (IC) role, you will be responsible for seeding our IC products in the early clinical phase of our customers clinical pipelines. The holder of this position will act as a subject matter expert and work with Sales and Marketing to promote, prospect, generate leads, close opportunities, and ensure that our IC products are specified in customers future processes.
What you will accomplish together with us:

Actively promote our IC portfolio in the clinical pipeline of all target accounts in the sales territory

Achieve the 1 year seeding objectives and the 3-5 years sales targets within the assigned sales territory,
-
Work in collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Product Specialist (PS) and Field Application Specialists (FAS) to generate leads and reach the short term (1 year) trials and demo targets and long term (3-5 years) sales targets

Generate customer workshops, seminars, product presentations, lectures at conferences, demonstrations, and application studies in collaboration with PS, FAS, Marketing & Product Management

Run prospection to generate own leads, capture, qualify and nurture these leads and those coming from Sales and from Marketing (MQL) and convert them into opportunities.

Engage Local General Sales and KAM to identify leads in early clinical phase and conversion in late clinical phase for our portfolio, and then manage these leads until conversion into opportunity

Handover all IC opportunities to BPS Sales and support the sales for further qualification, development, quote, negotiation and closing of the deal.

Work in collaboration with Product Management and Marketing to ensure proper targeting, positioning, pricing and promotion for our IC portfolio

Generate customer process and URS analysis and define application trials to help designing optimized solutions

Coordinate samples, trials and demos to ensure successful product demonstration and trials are achieved in collaboration with the FAS

Drive and monitor local trials, win rates and sales targets and give regular feedback on activities and results to local sales management via regular meeting and SFDC reporting
What will convince us:

Bachelor's degree in biotechnology, biochemistry, or life sciences. Master's degree preferred.

3+ years experience in the biopharmaceutical industry with a focus on bioprocessing;

Good understanding of the biopharma, protein, vaccine, and viral vector market (Customers, Applications, Processes)

Strong process expertise and ability to advise customers for their process intensification

Compensation for this position will be a base salary between $105,000.00 and $130,000.00 depending upon experience and qualifications. Plus, bonus that can reach and/or exceed 30% of a candidate’s base salary.
