The primary focus of the Marketing Service Representative in John L. Scott’s Bend Central Oregon office is to provide a variety of administrative tasks, including assisting in marketing and social media efforts for the office and brokers. This position will have the opportunity to collaborate on marketing projects with other JLS offices regionally. This person will also greet guests, answer phones/emails and project-based work to support leadership. This is truly an important role as John L. Scott is known for the excellent service we provide; the Marketing Services Representative is a critical part of this mission. Essential Functions/Duties:
· Be the face of the branch as the first point of contact for external customers by greeting and assisting all guests as they enter and answering the branch’s main phone line and email account
· Provide marketing assistance by designing/customizing flyers, postcards, and other printed and digital materials needed to market and promote new listings
· Create print media for brokers including: listing flyers, open house flyers, and monthly print outreach mailings
· Assist in a range of Broker Services including, but not limited to, listings, transactions, client relations, and marketing services
· Assist with content creation and manage office social media accounts
· Assist with contacts and email marketing, including the import/export of csv files, assigning company email campaigns
· Support Office Leader in recruiting outreach, marketing campaigns/business development
· Be familiar with and able to train brokers on JLS tools and technology platforms
· Cross train with the office administrator and assist with administrative duties such as; reviewing, distributing, copying and organizing paperwork; light facility maintenance; maintaining office procedures and assist with streamlining and organizing systems
· Act as liaison between brokers and the IT department by providing technical assistance and/or training for equipment and John L. Scott software applications, troubleshooting and maintaining office equipment, and engaging with Broker Care (IT) if unable to resolve a broker issue
· Enter, update, and follow-up on transactions and listings, as well as provide account receivable support, using our accounting software
· Upon request, assist with the coordination of education classes for branch including communication with speaker/vendor, calendar invitations, and room/materials prep
· Maintain office rosters, birthdays, milestone updates celebratory content for internal postings
· Reliable attendance to ensure initiatives and processes are moving forward and maintain outstanding customer service
Required Knowledge and Abilities:

Qualifications:
· Minimum Associates degree in Marketing or related field or four years of practical work experience preferred
· Experience with Canva or other layout design software such as, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Outlook
· Experience using a CRM platform
· Experience in business social media platforms, e.g., Facebook, Instagram etc
· Experience with email marketing tools a plus
· Real Estate experience helpful but not required
Position, Compensation & Benefits:
· The position is full time, in-office, Monday-Friday, and is considered non-exempt for purposes of Wage and Hour Law
· Pay is from $19 to $20 (Per hour)
