Marketing Assistant / Marketing Coordinator

Job Summary: Great opportunity to be part of a growing Marketing/Business Development Group within large General Contractor / Construction Management Company in Northern California (Sacramento, San Francisco and Pleasanton). Responsibilities include, but are not limited to working with the operations groups, project managers through senior vice presidents, in their pursuits to get work.

Some of the marketing role duties for project pursuits include:

• Provide assistance to marketing staff and project teams with generation of new work proposals, presentations and collateral material.
• Creating/updating resumes
• Creating/updating project sheets
• Compiling company information
• Performing market research

Skill Set:

• Excellent general computing skills.

• Experience with Adobe InDesign.
• Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Adobe Photoshop (an extensive knowledge of the program is a plus, but not a requirement).

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, creative, energetic, and detail oriented.

Sporadic travel may be required, generally occurring 1-3 days at a time for training. For the marketing coordinator position, previous experience in the AEC industry is a requirement.

The successful candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design or Communications, and should be proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe InDesign.

The Company’s salary ranges are dependent on a number of factors including but not limited to role, level and location. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of various factors, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, applicant’s abilities and market and business considerations. The annual base salary range listed is subject to change at any time, in the Company’s discretion, and does not alter in any way the at-will nature of the employment relationship. The foregoing information reflects base salary only and does not include other forms of available compensation to which employees may be entitled including but not limited to profit sharing, stock appreciation rights, retirement compensation, travel subsistence, and other compensations/benefits, which are dependent upon various factors including but not limited to years of service, location, performance, etc.
