The Job At-A-Glance:
Q2 is seeking a Marketing Content Writer to help us tell our company story to employees, customers, prospects, and investors.
As part of the content team, you will work on a wide variety of projects—short and long-form content, creative support for events, sales materials and collateral, video, presentations, marketing campaign materials, web, digital, and social content, and more. You will collaborate with a broad group of Marketing peers, from visual designers, to videographers, to campaign managers. You will support and mentor under creative leaders and seasoned content team members. You’ll have the opportunity to develop a complete creative and content skillset, taking projects from concepting and pitching to drafting, editing, publication, and assessing content performance.

A Typical Day:
  • Create and produce high quality content, consistent with brand and corporate style standards
  • Understand technical product features, benefits, and client needs and can articulate these in a clear and concise manner
  • Research and leverage the latest insights and statistics on a given topic
  • Work on concurrent projects and ensure that deliverables are achieved on time, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and creativity
  • Provide input and content when necessary for corporate website, blog, social media, and campaigns
  • Ensure writing is engaging, easy to understand, and highly informative to our audiences
  • Ensure standards and messaging are consistent and maintained across all channels
  • Iterate and update content and materials for accuracy and completeness
  • Responsible for ensuring that all security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are adhered to
  • Be comfortable bringing ideas to the table to push the content team and your projects forward!
Bring Your Passion, Do What You Love. Here's What We're Looking For:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
  • Proven ability to write with imagination, clarity, and attention to detail
  • Experience writing both technical content and promotional copy for both online and hardcopy deliverables is preferred
  • Ability to identify and write to different audience needs
  • High attention to detail with excellent spelling and grammatical skills
  • Self-starter with ability to plan and manage a writing project from start to finish
  • Can do, highly motivated team player
  • Enjoy the entire process: interviewing, brainstorming, collaborating, drafting, and taking feedback to make the work better
