Deer Valley Resort is nestled in the Wasatch Mountains of Utah, in the historic mining town of Park City which has evolved into an exciting and diverse mountain ski town. $20 per hour minimum starting wage for non-tipped position

PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for contributing to the execution of various strategic marketing plans for all Deer Valley business units, supporting the marketing team with all administrative responsibilities and overseeing the resort's annual donation and community giving program. The successful individual should be a strong written and verbal communicator, organized, fiscally knowledgeable and collaborative.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Marketing
- Assist the SMMO and Marketing Manager with executing all traditional marketing projects including signage, collateral and integrated campaigns within the marketing department
Oversee collateral distribution and fulfillment requests-
Assist in gaining approvals on collateral material from resort Business Unit's for the marketing department (i.e. annual trail map)

Coordinate the on-hold script updating and recording

Assist VP, Marketing and marketing management team with project and event support as needed
Office Administration
- Perform all administrative duties for the marketing department including management of department shipping/receiving, monitoring the general marketing phone line and email address and maintaining office equipment and office coverage manual

Office management duties such as ordering name tags, business cards, maintaining phone lists and onboarding marketing employees

Maintain office responsibility calendars, coordinate team meetings and party management

Manage the weekly marketing staff meeting minutes
Guest Relations/Brand Management
- Manage guest comment cards (hard copy and digital) and regular NPS reports

Manage season passholder appreciation event coordination

Oversee the resort's comp season pass list
Budget
- Assist the SMMO in managing the department budget, including recording actuals, processing check requests for marketing payables and reconciling credit card statements
Donations and Community Giving
- Process and fulfill resort donation requests

Fulfill event sponsorships

Manage annual community giving grant with the Park City Community Foundation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing and/or Communications preferred

2+ years' experience in marketing preferred

Must have budget management or accounts payable experience

Experience in the ski and/or entertainment hospitality industry a plus
Strong written, organizational, and verbal communication skills including experience in Office 365-
Microsoft Office Suite - moderate to high level experience including PPT

Ability to organize and prioritize large volumes of information; routinely handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion

Flexibility in work schedule and job duties are required. Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings

Assist in covering for other staff members on a short-term basis. May also be recruited to work in other areas of operation (i.e. Guest Services, Lift Operations) during peak season

Uniform Requirements:
Company provides ski suit to be worn when skiing for the company. Must provide own ski equipment. Must provide own office attire that is commensurate with a business office (see employee handbook).
