Marketing Lead, LATAM (Remote - US)

The Community You Will Join: 


Reporting to the Senior Marketing Lead, Americas, the Marketing Lead, Latin America is a strategic marketer that advocates for regional growth, tapping into their deep understanding of the business, consumer and market. 


The Difference You Will Make:

I

n collaboration with key central and local marketing managers and stakeholders, they will enable the development and delivery of marketing strategies and plans to accelerate growth in Latin America. They will bring analytical rigor and a strategic mindset to build and evaluate marketing campaigns. Their market and consumer knowledge will inform global work and help Airbnb break through regionally. They will also act as a thought partner, sounding board and consultant to the Senior Marketing Lead regarding regional business , marketing planning and operations. 


A Typical Day: 


  • In partnership with other marketing stakeholders, develop and deliver the Latin American marketing strategy, balancing alignment with global strategy and regional opportunities


  • Acutely understand the business, consumer and market nuances across each market


  • Surface regional insights, learnings, opportunities or challenges to influence global marketing strategies and make the business case for locally relevant solutions 


  • Partner across marketing and media stakeholders to build out a holistic and integrated regional marketing plan that delivers on business KPIs


  • Deliver, optimize and measure success, sharing learnings to inform and elevate future work


  • Partner with media agency leads to foster highly productive agency partnerships


  • Partner with global operations to advocate for resources to ensure that regional priorities are supported


  • Share timely updates and information seamlessly across global, regional and local teams


  • Build and maintain relationships with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders, proactively identifying ways to partner and unlock value


Your Expertise:


  • ​​10+ years experience, preferably with brand marketing experience in consumer, travel, technology, or lifestyle brands


  • Experience working across Latin America and ideally US Latinx 


  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal) is a must


  • Creative, strategic and analytical thinker with proven ability to develop, influence and flawlessly deliver world class marketing programs that deliver results


  • An integrated marketing mindset with experience in amplifying campaigns across paid, owned and earned channels 


  • Solid business acumen to understand key business and consumer levers that unlock growth 


  • Critical thinker with experience in setting up frameworks and measuring success against campaign goals 


  • Track record of leading, influencing and building excellent relationships across organizations and with a broad range of peers


  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing short-term needs with long-term strategic initiatives


  • Experience managing media agency partners 


  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills; able to articulate a vision, strategy and idea clearly and succinctly


  • The ability to work at both strategic and tactical levels


  • Passion for Airbnb and travel


Your Location:


This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. How We'll Take Care of You:


Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits. 


Pay Range

$155,000—$193,500 USD
