Kaluza is expanding into new international markets as energy companies everywhere are challenged with providing affordable, green and reliable energy solutions to their customers. This position will be part of Kaluza's growing team in California helping us build relationships and boost brand awareness across North America so we can solve these challenges and accelerate decarbonisation.


What will I be doing?

We are seeking Kaluza's first Marketing Manager to create and deliver lead generation, nurture, and account based campaigns that increase market awareness, accelerate the commercial pipeline and ultimately enable Kaluza to achieve its sales goals. This role will be a key enabler as the business ramps up commercialisation on a global scale.

The Marketing Manager will sit within our MarComms team and be based in California, US. The role will involve working closely with product marketing, business development, and brand teams.

  • Occasionally handling media requests

Responsibilities

A marketing all-rounder, you will work across events, digital, PR and content writing for our brand and marketing campaigns in Northern America:

  • Develop strategies for both acquiring and nurturing leads that drive awareness, consideration and purchase intent across all channels including email, paid social content, SEO, webinars, partners, paid programs and virtual events
  • Negotiating events sponsorship, creating speaker presentations and preparing spokespeople
  • Help build key media relationships with local trade and national journalists that results in positive coverage for the business
  • Running social media channels including Kaluza's LinkedIn and Twitter accounts, crafting engaging posts and organically growing followers
  • Content creation - case studies, white papers, social media posts, blogs and other B2B marketing materials to support our brand awareness and lead generation objectives
  • Proactively partner with our Business Development Team to ensure seamless interactions for prospects
  • Ensure world-class quality of any marketing materials that are produced, including web content, webinars, emails, events, white papers, ROI studies, ads, graphics, and videos.
  • Communicate across all levels of the team on a regular basis about new and nurtured lead performance results
  • Opportunistically look out for insightful content from product, product analytics, design and research teams to package content that positions Kaluza as an innovative leader in the market

Is this the job for me?

  • You have proven experience (at least 4 years) in B2B marketing, preferably in the energy industry
  • Excellent copy-writing skills
  • Outstanding organisational and project management skills; you'll be a stickler for detail and hyper organised
  • Experience of events and social media management
  • Experience of working with the media is a bonus, but not crucial
  • You are a pragmatic and practical self-starter; an outcomes oriented person who can juggle multiple workstreams, loves to problem-solve and can efficiently drive a collaborative process
  • You thrive on challenge, are adaptable/flexible, and take pride in being an excellent teammate
