We are opening up an internship position to support our Marketing Technology and Automation team, presenting an opportunity to gain practical knowledge of how marketing systems and data intersect to optimize marketing campaigns and programs. This internship will be a great way to begin your career as you will learn the fundamentals of Marketing Operations and Technologies including exposure to multiple enterprise technologies, data, and project management which will be invaluable as you prepare for the start of a career in B2B Marketing.


Cvent’s Global Demand Center, which manages the technology, processes, campaigns and data that generate leads and demand for Cvent’s solutions, is part of our marketing team. This intern will gain first-hand experience with managing projects that drive strategic recommendations, processes, insights, and action plans for our marketing team.


Internship will begin in Summer '23 with the potential to extend into the Fall '23 semester. We ask that candidate start immediately, and be prepared to work 40 hours per week during the summer internship.

In This Role, You Will::
  • Provide on-demand support as needed for ongoing marketing technology implementation and procurement efforts.
    • Example projects include: assisting with the design and implementation of a training program for a new graphics tool, assisting with vendor evaluations, and creating best practice marketing technology documentation
  • Support the team’s efforts to collect and present insights to business stakeholders to inform data-driven decisions
    • Example projects: include analyzing the success of direct mail and gifting programs to help us understand the most impactful use cases, deep-diving into the success of nurture and lead scoring programs, and more
  • Researching marketing technologies to understand how they could impact the business/marketing team
    • Example projects: finding 3-5 companies to evaluate to purchase to help with a business need.
  • Collecting & Analyzing data from different technologies & internal reports to help progress projects or help stakeholders make decisions
    • Example projects: providing reports & findings to stakeholders from important marketing technologies – such as our video hosting platform.
Here's What You Need::
  • Full-time college student with plans to graduate in May 2024 (summer between junior and senior year)
  • Ability to work 40 hours per week in the summer
  • Self-motivated, analytical, willing to learn, and interested in working in a team environment
  • Organized with project management skills
  • Experience conducting an end-to-end project that included data collection and analysis/interpretation of results
  • Excel skills preferred
  • Interest or experience in marketing, technology, or operations
