Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re interested in becoming a Master Scheduler, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Master Scheduler has the responsibility of establishing, managing, reviewing and maintaining a valid schedule for selected items. This position will have a great impact on internal/external customer service, supply chain, inventory, material and capacity planning.

• Identifies, negotiates and resolves conflicts with respect to material and capacity availability and order-promising integrity.

• Quotes deliveries dates for sales requests within the defined lead time

• Develops and maintains communication channels between various departments to maintain the production flow rates

• Monitors and maintains inventory levels

• Maintains part parameters such as planner codes, lead times and safety stocks

• Communicates when demand cannot be met and recommends alternatives on how the requested demand could be satisfied

• Schedules raw material/purchase components through product release

• Assists leadership team with managing constraints and the utilization of resources and overtime across all shifts

• Bachelor’s Degree required.

• Previous material planning or buying experience and manufacturing processes knowledge preferred.

• Ability to create a master production schedule and the ability to use and revise that schedule to achieve production objectives

• Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems

• Demonstrated knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRPII)

• Basic communication skills, both verbal and written

• Solid detail orientation and organizational skills

• Basic knowledge of replenishment programs

• Ability to contribute to Continuous Improvement projects and problem solving
