The Master Scheduler has the responsibility of establishing, managing, reviewing and maintaining a valid schedule for selected items. This position will have a great impact on internal/external customer service, supply chain, inventory, material and capacity planning.

What you will be doing
- Identifies, negotiates and resolves conflicts with respect to material and capacity availability and order-promising integrity.
- Quotes deliveries dates for sales requests within the defined lead time
- Develops and maintains communication channels between various departments to maintain the production flow rates
- Monitors and maintains inventory levels
- Maintains part parameters such as planner codes, lead times and safety stocks
- Communicates when demand cannot be met and recommends alternatives on how the requested demand could be satisfied
- Schedules raw material/purchase components through product release
- Assists leadership team with managing constraints and the utilization of resources and overtime across all shifts
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Previous material planning or buying experience and manufacturing processes knowledge preferred.
- Ability to create a master production schedule and the ability to use and revise that schedule to achieve production objectives
- Demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems
- Demonstrated knowledge of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRPII)
- Basic communication skills, both verbal and written
- Solid detail orientation and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of replenishment programs
- Ability to contribute to Continuous Improvement projects and problem solving
