Data Governance Consultant

Master-Works is seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Consultant to enhance our clients' data management frameworks. In this role, you will be pivotal in implementing best practices that ensure data quality, compliance, and security across various data ecosystems. You will collaborate with stakeholders to design and execute robust data governance strategies, tailored to meet the unique needs of each organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with clients to assess their current data governance frameworks and recommend improvements.

• Develop comprehensive data governance policies, procedures, and standards to support data management efforts.

• Facilitate workshops and meetings to engage stakeholders and promote a culture of data stewardship.

• Monitor compliance with established data governance standards and regulatory requirements.

• Provide ongoing support and consulting to assist clients in implementing data governance best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Management, or related disciplines.

• At least 5 years of experience in data governance or data management consulting roles.

• In-depth knowledge of data governance frameworks and data privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.

• Excellent communication skills, with a focus on engaging and influencing stakeholders.
